My daughter experienced a sidewall blowout on I-84. A bystander stopped to help, but in the process, stripped out the lug nuts on the tire when trying to change it. Victor from Nelcon just happened to be passing by and stopped to help. The bystander took off realizing he made a mistake. Victor stayed with my daughter with lights on his wrecker until AAA arrived. He even tried to help with the tire with the tools he had on-hand. Thank you, Nelcon, for having courteous, thoughtful drivers!
I was stuck in the early morning and these were the only guys that responded, they had a tow truck out on their way to help me out. I was able to get my car started, but these guys were great. Very professional, kind, and worth the Five stars.
I had a great experience with this company today! Gary was extremely helpful and sweet, my freightliner truck needed an alternator fixed and they got it done quickly so my team can continue rolling! They seemed busy as the tech was in and out of the area but still fit us in their schedule. Great work
After a long 12-hour shift, the last thing I needed was a flat tire—and unfortunately, the jack I had wasn’t strong enough to help. My son came to assist, and just as it was getting dark on I-84 West right after Exit 33 (Route 72), Justin from Nelcon Service Center pulled up and offered to help us out. He went out of his way to make sure we were safe and taken care of, and what really stood out was that he refused any payment. In a moment where he truly didn’t have to stop, he chose kindness and professionalism. That kind of service speaks volumes. I can’t put into words how grateful I am for Nelcon towing, Especially Nick and Gary. My daughter was stranded on the highway, scared, and not knowing what to do next, and Nick didn’t just show up to Do a job he showed that he really cared. He made sure she felt safe, stayed in contact with us, and went out of his way to help us figure out our AAA membership. In a moment where any parent will be worry, sick, he gave us peace of mind. When I went to pick up the truck from their yard, the kindness didn’t stop there. Gary and the entire crew treated me with the same level of respect and compassion. They handled everything seamlessly and made sure the truck got from Connecticut back to New Jersey without me having to stress over a single detail. In a stressful situation, these are the kind of people you pray for people who actually care. They didn’t just help us, they showed us humanity when we needed it most. I will never forget that.

Sal is 1000% excellent. I called him at 11PM on a Saturday night in zero degree weather to tow a heavy truck off Route 84 and he immediately sent Kenny out. I called other towing companies and they laughed at me or just hung up on me. Sal stepped up and bailed me out. I am extremely grateful. I got a flat on I-91 at night in a rain storm and couldn't get the tire off on my own. Nelcon showed up soon after I called, and helped me get the tire off and the spare on so I wouldn't need to be towed. The driver was very nice and helpful.
My Rav 4 was parked in a very low parking garage when the starter went. I called AAA & was told they didn’t have the equipment to get it out & basically I was on my own. My car was stranded there for 2 nights. Someone sent me the info on Nelcon & from the moment Gary picked up the phone, I knew I was in good hands. Within 2 hours of my call he had my Rav out & delivered to my mechanic. They are a company I would highly recommend & I am so happy that good customer service still exists! Many thanks!
They did an excellent job of caring for my vehicle after my spouse was in an accident nearby. Sal the owner made sure my vehicle was segregated from other crashes in the lot until the insurance adjuster had been able to inspect the vehicle. The professionalism of his team was greatly appreciated in the midst of an otherwise difficult situation.

Really great customer service. I live out of state and car was loaned to a family member. They were flawless in helping me naviagate what was needed to obtain the car. Good and efficient communication the entire way. I don't know how this family owned business deals with disgruntled customers on a daily, but they do and they handle with grace. a big thanks to the people at Nelson for taking care of our towing needs after the fuel pump failed on our truck. From dealing with the dispatcher to the 3 professional drivers that came out to tow out truck and trailer all were friendly and knew there jobs. when your stuck on the side of the road it seams like forever until the tow trucks show up but in fact they made the 50 mile drive out to us in about an hour. the care the driver took to unhook and load the truck on there roll back and then hook up our 48' trailer to another truck was 2nd to none!

I had some trouble with my car late after leaving work and required a tow and when AAA told me it would be an hour and a half I was not happy, but understood. Shortly after Selena the tow truck driver called me and gave me an actual timeframe update which was very fast and also was very sweet and understanding of my car trouble situation. Also, previous to this had a horrible accident that totaled my vehicle before and Nelcon was on the scene to tow my car on the highway and were also amazing with the process of getting my belongings after such a horrific accident. Overall great experience twice in a matter of 2 years. Definitely recommend for all services.
I recently was helping someone with business at Nelcon, the first person I met was Gary,when I explained the situation going on he was very helpful, then again on Mon.Oct 16th I was assisting same person who's vehicle was in there possession,I was very pleased with them because Gary(made aware of persons circumstances)or the other workers there and I was happy that they actually made it completely great experience
I was thankful. I was driving to New Haven when my tire popped out of no where, Nelcon service center was right up the street, they were closed but the kind lady fixed my flat tire in 10 min my kids & I are so thankful thank you guys give her a raise!!
